Hi there,

We're here trying to press MagiCut Nylon Flex onto 100% Polyester windcheaters. I was advised by The Magic Touch that this was the product I would need for this product. Their website advises low pressure, 150c, 45 seconds press and a cold peel. However, when we do this, nothing happens, it literally doesn't stick to the jackets at all.

We've managed to press onto t-shirts, fleeces and sweatshirts this week and this is our first hurdle. We're 6 days into completing an order and now are lost and really want to get it finished.

Any advice?

Thanks and happy easter....

For 100% polyester I would have thought 123 Flex is better suited. Nylo flex is for Nylon and Hydrophobic garments.

If you have some 123 Flex there, cut a small square and press it to the inside of the garment in an area that will not be seen.

Thanks.. We're out of 123 flex.. After lots of experimenting, swearingand melting poly we got success with 15 secs at 125c. Completely different to what was recommended by TMT. After the first two didn't stick at all the next few melted the jackets. All very odd.

Anyway, We got there in the end..

I Suggest pressing for about 10 seconds, warm / hot peel, then repress for 30 seconds after
