Hi there,
I am new to sublimation business and the other day I bought over 800 ready to edit and print mug images. Some of the images you can add your own text to like happy birthday ones you can add the persons name or age. I have corel draw x7 installed on the work laptop when I add the image to the workspace and go to edit text that option is not available. The files for the images are in jpg format Please could someone help me
Regards
Damian

you cannot edit text in a j-peg file.
any text in a j-peg has been converted into a raster (picture) format.
You need to use the .cdr or other text editable file types

If the files are in PSD there's a good chance the elements will be in layers which would allow you to edit/change font.
You should be able to import the PSD files into CorelDraw

Hi Again, just did a quick attempt at opening one of my PSD files in CorelDraw7. Did not work out great. Do you have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as they will work for your PSD files.

Generally speaking it is better to IMPORT files into Draw using the relevant import filter. OPEN is best used for CDR files only, other formats may well open but are more reliable when imported. PSD may be editable but I find it is best to do the text in Draw as text manipulation is more flexible. JPG is fine (providing resolution is high enough) but for rescaleable objects and crisp prints you can't beat vector, obviously that doesn't apply to photographs.
