Hello,

We currently have a basic/standard mug press that is able to sublimate 10oz ceramic mugs. Unfortunately, I tried to sublimate an aluminium water bottle but the ink wouldn't show because the pressure was too low on the product between the press.

I was looking around the internet to find that you could get heat elements for much smaller mugs/bottles, however I was struggling to find one that would just simply clock on to our (4 screw) press.

Does anyone have any ideas on pressing water bottles?

Help is hugely appreciated,

Regards,
Callum.

I use Adkins mug presses for my bottles with a thin silicon sheet to ensure a tight fit. You only need very light pressure.

Our standard mug press from BMS has an extra element you can buy which is thicker so you can do bottles and items smaller than 10oz mugs. We did 200 water bottles recently for client which worked a treat with this element. Perhaps check your mug press and what add ons you can buy. Olly

I sub supplies do a thin sheet that you can wrap around them before pressing, but please be seated when they tell you the price, stupidly i ordered one while walking round their unit, thinking it would only be a couple of pounds, and have still not recovered from the actual cost -
