Re: Pixmax cap press

I recently got a pixmax cap press as I wanted to do a couple of caps and as I had a Result brand sample pack of caps from ralawise I gave it a go but can't get it right.
There's no spring clip to hold the cap tight so getting it placed right is difficult and whatever I do I can't seem to get a good press as the caps all crease up under the press and result in a wasted cap.
has anyone else got this press? and if so any tips?
I'm going to try other cap brands (probably beachfield next) to see if there's a sweet combo which compliments the press but I worry as although all the hats I've tried are the same brand they were all different styles (polyester / cotton / 5 panel / 6 panel) and always the same problems.
