I am looking at options for an A3 Heat Press with a limited budget of around £500. At the moment I don't have heavy usage.

The options I have looked at are a used press like Adkins ( i would prefer swing away). Also looked at BMS option of HP3805 which seems pretty good.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Used Adkins or Pressmech, certainly a few Adkins around. Take a look at the cheaper Adkins and Stahls at Xpres and Target Transfers.

second hand adkins, their tec support is great, and all the parts are available and not expensive, I refurbed one of mine from 2007 with new guide post, all 3 pins, micro switch, spring, and lock-down bolt and only came to £40 inc transport, we have it on 8hours a day 6 days a week, great kit!

Adkins get my vote, particularly the Beta range.

Mine gets a hammering by a couple of kids every day. The way they treat it they should be locked up, yet it still keeps going and no dead spots.
