Hi subbies

I'm looking for an A4 printer that can handle 320 card stock and do borderless printing of fine art greeting cards. would appreciate if someone could recommend a good printer.

Thanks in advance

John

we are all looking for this, suspect you will have to buy oversized and trim down edge, - it's the way 'proper' printers do edge2edge

I was printing borderless on an Epson years ago - Epson Stylus Photo 1200 managed up to A3+ and was coping with a range of heavy stock.

Most epson photo printers do edge to edge.

Three different types Photo R220, Photo 1400 and Photo 1500. All print to borderless!

Looking around the web I think I'm going to look into the Canon Pixma Pro 1 as I'm using an IPF5100 for A2 prints at the mo and love the quality, unfortunately this only does borderless on 17'' roll media. The reason for my choice is that Canon seem to be leading the way with their printers using less ink than most.

will let you know in the new year how I get on with it.
