PSE 13 design tips

Hi, I wondered if anyone could offer any design tips when making templates for mugs using Photoshop Elements 13. Are there any blank templates to be found with a small border that I can cut prior to applying to my mugs.
Does anyone know of any good You tube videos.
Any tips very much appreciated.
