We've got a new product in whose sublimation size is literally 2-3mm over the size we can print A3 on our SG7100. Therefore we are getting a fine white line down the edges due to margins.

Am I right therefore in thinking that you can buy a special tray and use A3+ paper to enlarge print area?

OR

Is there a way to get more print area out of the existing A3 print if the printer can print larger area anyway?

Many thanks

Olly

BMS have got one, but at £186 it is the price of an Epson 1500w.

BMS are about 10 mins from us and I must admit I tried to call Scotty before making this original post but he was busy. You're right in that it seems very expensive just to get a few extra mm.

Is the 7100 like the 3110?

My 3110 printer driver allows a slight increase in page area by setting to Maximum ...

That's interesting. I shall go and get a minion to check. Although with the smell of coffee in the air they are probably all on a break so better go do it myself!

Well I got someone to change this setting and aside from the new item, we are now printing 12 coasters per A3 rather than 8 so that saves A LOT of paper. Have a virtual coffee on us!
