Hi

After having no real need to use any kind of mug mock up software I now find myself in desperate need and wish I had paid more attention when there were postings relating to it :o(

I have had a search and found a whole load of stuff but not the item I was looking for. I seem to remember that someone recently (6 months??) posted a reference to a piece of software or a script that would take a piece of flat artwork and wrap it around a cylinder which could then be rotated so you could view all of the mug. I have found software which requires the user to construct a wire frame and do a whole lot of stuff that I don't really understand but that appeared to be part of some much larger software package. I am sure (or is it wishful thinking) that the app I saw was either free of relatively low cost. I need to be able to create an animated gif so that it could be either posted in an email or published on facebook.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

That works .............. after a fashion. The problem is that the white parts of your image don't match the white of the animated mug. It doesn't work well if you make the white transparent either. It's not a mock-up that I'd like to show a customer.

I've not used it myself, I just remember spotting it when I looked at Paul's website.

There's definitely a need for someone to write some decent software to accomplish this.

I believe the OP wanted an animated gif Justin, not static images.

Ahh, see what you mean! I was going to suggest that you upload it as a png file, but you've said that you've tried it transparent.

Hey-ho, I'm sure there's some software out there somewhere.
