Hi All!

I have a slight issue every time I open a image in Coreldraw and cut, A box appears with my cut line around my image even though my image has no background.
Please help as I do not know where to go from here, I have attached a image below.

Thank You

image has no background but is still raster image. not a vector.
Only vector images will be able to hold cutlines.

Another youtube video showing the process of putting cutlines around raster or bitmap images, similar to the link I posted on another of your threads asking the same question!

Did you look at the other one?

For my Silver Bullet cutter I do all my vectorising with Vector Magic.

I use the desktop edition.

Thank You guys, I have figured it out.
My Roland BN20 does not seem to be producing a rich deep Black it has a grey tone how do I get it a Solid black.

Sorry for all the questions I am new to the printing scene

Thanks

That's an issue that I've had - one way around it is to turn your blacks into RGB black, rather than CMYK black. I've not investigated further, which I probably ought to, but this method works perfectly, so I've expended efforts in other directions...

How do I go about changing them to RGB do I do this on Corel when cutting or in Versaworks?
I may start a thread o this topic to see how other people have dealt with this issue.

I'm not a BN-20 owner, but have you not tried removing the background from your image and saving as a transparent PNG instead of a JPG?

Did you pay the dealer to set it up??? If you did then they should have sorted all this out for you, you would be happily printing away by now.
