Hi All

i am using this vinyl - https://www.signmakingandsupplies.co.uk ... 2075-p.asp - to put onto a polyester gym sack.

i take it i just follow the vinyl instructions, 170C for 20 seconds, the bag won't melt?!

i also have woven badges to press onto performance t-shirts and was told by the badge company '30 seconds on high' whatever high is again, the t-shirts won't melt?!

i'm so paranoid right now!! :rolleyes: football tops can withstand that heat for that time, so assuming they'll be okay... guess i'm just needing a bit of reassurance lmao :rolleyes::biggrin:

I've pressed polyester drawstring bags with no problems other than making sure the PU leather-effect corner reinforcements don't come into contact with the hot parts of the press.

.... and keep the cords away from the platen as well.
You need to use a kids platen or a press pad inside the bag.

The t-shirts will be ok - they are good to sublimate at 200c for 60 secs, so bunging a bit of vinyl onto them shouldn't hurt.
