Completely out of interest does anyone know (perhaps a member?) who is "wedomugs"? We bought a few hundreds blank mugs recently from liquidated stock and out of about 1000 one of the mugs had a "wedomugs" stamp at the bottom. The thing is they still trade (Amazon at least) and so wondered if they are a big outfit.

Birmingham outfit. They have a website and the whois data returns this - https://www.whois.com/whois/wedomugs.com

They still seem to be active so might just be one of their mugs in the batch rather than liquidated mugs from their demise.

Company check interesting. We obviously had found web site and contact details but just interested if owner was perhaps member on here. We were impressed with their mug base design and presumed their turnover must be pretty high to warrant base printing. Amazon shop pretty basic designs with no proper digital mock up but must sell I guess.

I saw their base printing on the Amazon account. I'm not a fan of branding, if you are printing for artists or companies, they may not appreciate your ad or disclosing their mug manufacturer. I wouldn't want Orca or Chromaluxe all over my products.

I'm with Gary on that one. Branded bases are a pain. All of our Orca mugs are always non-stamped versions. It is a pain with the China options as can't always source them non-stamped and many a time have had to physically remove the stamp to put a customers brand there instead.
