Wonder if anyone can help?

I need to get my images that I weeded to come off the transfer paper without picking them up with my fingers. Is there any type of masking tape i can apply it to and then heat press onto the garment to keep all the single letters lined or will it the damage my transfer?

What material are you using? It's normal to use application tape with SIGN vinyl, not GARMENT vinyl, unless I'm misunderstanding you.

Are you using print and cut or just cut vinyl? If it is just cut vinyl you should be reverse cutting and the backing film becomes the front when pressing. If you are using print and cut your supplier of garment vinyl should have some garment application tape.

maybe you are using a LOW TAC vinyl - like 123 ?
They are great for big lettering, but not detail.

If doing detail, you need a high tack carrier, like flex premium of 123 premium.
Longer press times, but tacky film, can stick back if it lifts off too.

If lots is lifting off, check cutter blade settings (offset, pressure, do cut tests) and blade.
