Morning folks,
Bought brand new Epson 1500W which came with ink in the lines .. trying to install inks but can't get the row of lights to go out. Resetting the inks by pressing the white button doesn't work, I've tried that multiple times, as I've tried taking out the carts and making sure they clip in. Even switching off and on does nothing either.
Anyone else had this problem?
Any help would be gratefully received
Cheers

Where did you buy it from?
I can't understand how there was "ink in the lines" if it was brand new as I would expect the printer, CISS system and inks all to come as separate items in a bundle which then require setting up.

Have you pressed the ink change button once, then push the white button for 5 seconds and ink change again? Sometimes need to switch printer off and on again first.

This is how it came to me and after I installed it. As you can see the link lines are filled with ink.

Same as mine. It' sounds like you've done everything, re-seated carts, pressed the button. Have you tried pulling the power lead from the back (whilst printer on) leave 5 mins and switch back on?

you haven't pressed the carts in enough - I had exactly the same problem with my new one about 2 weeks ago. I was scared of breaking it. I phoned the supplier and they told me to give it a firm push using two hands. It is quite a loud click when in properly and then the lights go out and the printer starts charging.

Hahaha, frightened you'd push them through the bottom eh? lol. We thought you'd tried that!
Good that you have it sorted.
