DSF

Ive been wandering through supplier shops looking for mugs around 7oz or 200 ml. sizes. Seams every supplier has the same sizes and shapes. Can anybody help with this or am I searching for something unavailable?

I've had some small ones from BMS and they hold 200ml. They're Child or Espresso Mugs.

They have 250 ml. or bigger 10-17oz and 150 ml.

These are 150 ml. To small.

If it's any help I've just tested one of my old ones of those I mentioned from BMS and it does hold 200ml.

I don't think these are the ones in the BMS link though, because working out the maximum volume from the outside dimensions given by BMS (73mm dia and 78mm height) is well under 200ml.

I've just had Alexa work it out for me!

They are 100% the same mugs. Same size. I've just poured 200ml into it from my trusty Pyrex jug and it fills it to the top.

Ok. Not saying you're wrong, but the BMS dimensions on their site must be wrong.

They state 73mm diameter and 78mm height, so the volume (in cubic centimetres) is -

7.8 x (7.3 x pi) = 179cc, which is also equal to 179ml. So the BMS dimensions are too small.

Yeah it's weird...the dimensions on the site are the same as the mug I've got but the maths doesn't work out because it actually holds 200ml.
It must be magic!
