How long can you leave a printed sublimation sheet before you actually heat press the printed sub paper to a textile?

I printed some designs onto TexprintR paper about three months ago and the colours have bled. So I would say about a month and you will be ok. Using Sublisplash inks.
Maybe other papers react differently.

Thanks Earl,

As we're printing a stack and not pressing immediately, I just wondered :)

We've kept them, in folders, for many months and never had a problem. We also use TexprintR paper but use Ink4Inkjet ink.

Store in an air tight container and put in as many silica packets as you can lay your hands on. Should add a month or two. A lot will depend on the condition of the paper and the humidity it has been stored in. A freshly opened 'dry' pack will last longer than one that has been opened for some time.
