What the heck is happening this year? First half was nothing but rain and floods and now since early June we haven't had a drop of rain. My garden is bone dry and all the grass is brown. Looking at Carnoustie (golf) , on TV this morning. All the grass is brown.
Whats it like in your area?
Im on holiday next week in Holland by the sea. I hope it lasts an extra week. :-)

Weather is fantastic over here Earl and has been for a while. Only problem I have is having to walk this fella at 6.00AM every morning so he doesn't overheat. Could do without the early mornings :-)

We've had an incredible run of weather (by local standards!)

Plenty of sunshine, averaging maybe 16c but has gone higher.

Heavy rain a couple of days back, grass really needed it!

Got my Lakeland Terrier a smaller version of one of these gel-filled cooling mats. Non-toxic. They really do work once you can get your dog to use them! ...

The one pictured is from Amazon - but the £9.99 ones from JML work just as well (we have two for ourselves to slip under our pillowcases when it's too hot to sleep).

Mine have been getting in the shade. At work they have been stretched out in front of the fan.
I have been sweating in front of the screen printing press.

Just come back from my short break in Holland. And Its not cooling down at all. Most of the time it was in the high 20´s and on some days as high as 37c. This week, back in Germany, we are expecting around 34c today. And they say global warming is not happening. Not complaining though for me its better than winter snow.
Back to work tomorrow.
Photo shows the nearest beach to us. This was the most crowded it got as this is the entrance to the beach from the apartments.
