Re: Win 10 - Ricoh problem

I've just set up a new computer which has the latest Windows 10 OS. I have set up my Canon printers but cannot get the Ricoh SG2110n or the SG3110dn to work - they're "Not Found"

I believe there's a problem with the drivers not working since a recent Windows update. Does anyone know anything about this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Ray

I found the lovely guys at sawgrass place were great, they used remote softeware to access mine and put it right again, if I remember rightly the latest update had screwed up the ports settings, so the printers were not on the same path as before.

Thanks for the response, all being well, I seem to have sorted it out.

I downloaded drivers from Ricoh's site but it didn't work. In desperation, I dug out the original CDs that came with the printers and they worked right away!

I agree Sawgrass are helpful but I no longer use their inks. I have achieved perfect results using inks from Ken at inkforinkjet.co.uk who set up a profile which I've subsequently "tweaked". I don't think it would be appropriate to ask SG for help! I got the same problem with my Oki C511dn but the original CD didn't help me this time.

Thanks again,

Ray
