HI folks,

Just a quickie, does anybody print calendars in the forum? I have a possible order and looking for advice on the best type of paper to print them on, I have the design I want so just wondering whether its best to inkjet them onto a specific paper type, any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thanks

A long time ago I used a company called ppd and purchased heavyweight paper in bulk to get the price down. At the time I had an epson+cis which was the only way to keep the cost per page low enough to sell for around £7 each (if I remember rightly). When the printer failed I moved to an Epson 4900 but even 200ml cartriges were not cost effective and I gave up.

I print a lot of calendars. If you're looking to outsource I'm quite competitive for short runs, from 10 upwards. You can view my prices at
www.worcesterprinters.co.uk
Will give you a discount on the stated prices if you do decide to use me.
I tend to print the inner pages on 170gsm silk with the covers on 350gsm
