The Shirts must be Polyester based and not 100% cotton, also I wouldn't even try to subli print on a Dark T

Yes, and for best reults you need a minimum of 70% polyester. They will print on 100% cotton, but the problem comes on the first wash, the colours all wash out.

You can print on some coloured tshirts with sublimation ink, but you're looking at pastel colours.

For doing dark tees, you're looking at one of the transfer papers/vinyl/rhinestones etc.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but - Yes! even the white ones must be Polyester Based, as it's the polyester that the Sublimation Ink penetrates and adheres too, if you have all cotton, use them for maybe Transfer Printing or something similar
