I am looking around for an A3 sublimation printer at the moment. The recommended choice is the ET-14000 which has been tested and reviews here on the forum. But recently saw on the website of Isub supplies that they have an Epson Expression Premium XP-900 for Sublimation. Has anyone tried that particular Epson model for sublimation?

Yes, and got rid of it as soon as I could. The cartridges are tiny which means they are constantly needing to be refilled. They utilise a sponge which is not ideal for contant refilling. I tried a CISS from City Ink and dumped that before total insanity took me over!

I got hold of the ET-14000 and found it to be superb, although, a little slow.

Will consider the Ecotank that you have mentioned.

Ecotanks are the way to go. I have a couple of 1500Ws, but the third party CISS tanks are often faulty or only last 6 months. My current CISS is actually working great (for the first time ever) and the Epson hasn't caught on yet that it hasn't got original carts in it!

Thanks for the useful advice. So the main problem is with the third party CISS tanks? If I manage to source an 1500W, they seem to have vanished, I may try a CISS kit but may be good to stock a spare kit just in case.
