Does anybody else use the st210?

I have been playing with the settings but just can't seem to perfect it.

This attached image is at idle temp 110, bake 185 and time 100 seconds but it's still fading at the bottom.

I've tried putting it up to 110 seconds but it always seems to be toward the bottom (using both presses)

Can anybody recommend the settings they use?

Are you taping around the bottom of the mug? It could be gassing out.

I've just been doing the ends by the handle, should I tape the bottoms too?

I've made sure it's pretty tight

I think it's the press settings as it works great on my old 5 in 1 press.

I always tape the sides and along the bottom off the mugs when doing a full print mug.
I also pre heat my mugs at 100°c for around 3 minutes and then press them at 190°c for 160 seconds .
Doing this really helps with avoiding fadeout.

Thanks, do you just leave the in the press at 100 for 180 seconds then straight in at 190 for 160?

It's strange as my cheap, chinese 5 in 1 press does them perfectly at 180 for 180 seconds after warming up with a blank mug in but I can't master the ST210.

I only tape by the handle never had a single issue.
hows the pressure on the mug?

I would expect that the mugs are not straight and the press is t touching the bottom as much as further up the mug.
try increasing the pressure on the mug I think that will solve it.

I would also consider changing mugs.

Thanks, pressure seems very tight.

Thing is with a cheaper press and the same mugs, paper and ink they come out fine.

If the pressure is good and the cheaper press is working I would be sending the press back.

Sounds like you have two faulty elements then but seems a bit extreme for two to be faulty.
