Re: Coaster Printing

Post by mtarfadb »

Newbie who is confident with mugs, so now onto coaster so I can hopefully sell Mug & Coaster Set. Need advice as not sure what's wrong. Bought Coasters from mdp supplies and seems to be no film to peal away, I'm using sublijet ink with my sawgrass, can I use the same paper as what I use on mugs, what temp, time and pressure. 1st 2 nothing transferred apart from a little colour. My paper is texprint dt from beaver, also have some truepix classic as well as a make A Sub, any tips are much appreciated.

50 to 60 seconds at around 190 to 200c. Depends on your press but that is the ball park for an mdf or Cork coaster. Medium pressure.

Posting photos often helps.
