So here I am again. Just preordered Brother PE670E 6 needle machine, stand, frames, software and the lot.
As I considerate myself as good with machinery, I never had a lick of embroidery. so this should be fun :D
Machine is due Mid of December. So Christmas time is sorted for me :)

Have fun - another learning curve!!!
The only thing that has stopped me from adding embroidery is the fact I also screen print. One process too many, when added to the sublimation, htv, transfers and signs.

Thanks guys
I paid just under 8k
Software is around £500 alone!!
I am sure I will be asking many questions as I said before, not even a lick of needle and thread in my life lol
My main idea is yards and paths. Patches the most as this is what I am doing now quite a bit. Just farm them out at the moment.

Thats a nice thing to say.
500 for the software? Mines running at around 6,500€ . Its an expensive game is embroidery but once you can catch your customers they will usually stay with you because you will have their designs in your computer.
Never give the customer the embroidery datai unless they ask for it and have paid for it. And if they pay for it make sure you get a reasonable sum for it too. 50 pounds minimum.

Good point Earl!
I never give any artwork away. Most of the people give you post stamp size logos that need to be vectored. So I dos that, and as you say, they do normally are coming back :)

wow that is a great price for the software, what programme are you running ? my next machine will be a 10 colour now that the prices are heading down. I still cannot believe that you get bigger hoops for a table machine than you can for our machines now.

Yeah! Hoops are descent size. I don't think I will ever embroider anything as big as jackets etc, but will come handy when doing patches. If I will be able to place about 10 on one hoop then I am loving it already.

Software I got is the more advanced version of Brother PE Design. normally it cost £999 but is cheaper with the machine.
