Hi Everyone.

I currently have a Pixmax mug press which I'm looking to replace as it's starting to give inconsistent results, and just wondered what people are using or recommending at the moment?

I press a few different things - Mugs (I currently use Novachrome's 10oz Durham as I fund them the most reliable), Aluminium bottles (600 or 750ml) and the occasional thermos so I'm looking for something with a few different elements.

Or, has anyone been able to get mug elements for the pixmax press as it may also be that at fault. Struggling to find any unless someone knows of a compatible one?

Thanks!

Await the insults but the mdp digital press all day long.
Elements are £18 so I stock 3-4 spares I have done a writeup review here about it.

I can’t justify £80+ for a replacement element.

The "best" mug press I have is a GK K3 and not replaced the blanket yet but it'll probably be eyewatering if I do have to. I have had it 5 years and it was old when I got it. The handles on mugs get very hot, hence it prints nice and close. The overall uniformity of the print is very impressive.

Against it expensive, mugs need to be VERY straight, have a look at one and see how little padding there is.

So there you are two views both based on experience and at opposite ends of the price spectrum.

I also run 4 Aadkins, and 2 early BMS ones. I would probably go down the MrTJ route unless I could find a used GK close to me, then I would say go and look at that, print with it on your mugs and see how you get on.

See as always I was no help what so ever.
