Hi

Was looking at a tumbler / mug press and found that some manufactures sell two different machines

Can you use a tumbler machine to press a mug or the other way around? or can you buy an element to make it work ?

A tumbler press will also do mugs but the wear on the element isn’t really worth it.
a mug element is probably going to set you back anywhere from £20-£80 and a tumbler element probably double that.

I have three presses.
2 digital presses for mugs 10oz & 11oz (both use the same element)
1 old ukpress for 600ml water bottles (bigger element)

If I was going to make tumblers I would have a separate press.
