Hi,

We (company I work for) have received 100 mugs with incorrect print on them (there is a digit missing from the telephone number).

I have spoken to the supplier who are unwilling to correct/re-print so we're currently stuck with 100 mugs that are rendered useless.

We potentially at this point only have 1 solution of attempting to remove the telephone number - but before we did this, were wondering if there is a potential way of adding the additional digit?

I assume these are sublimation mugs? Did you supply the artwork or did the supplier do it? i.e. is it their fault or yours? :-)

Whenever I make anything that’s customised I always send a preview (proof) which has to be cleared for printing. If there’s an error after clearance has been made for print this is down to the purchaser and not my responsibility.

So if you had such a proof and cleared it your stuck but if you sent the correct details and they made the mistake then email them so you have it in writing.
If they refuse to budge and it was 100% their fault Call the bank and make a claim.

Depending on the design and other factors you could potentially either pad print or screen print the additional digit on to the mug. Without seeing the design etc it is impossible to say if this is possible or not.

On another note, as one of the cheapest bulk suppliers in the UK give me a shout if you need a reprint ;-)
