Just saying hello.

I started in the hobby maker space with a Cricut and a 3D printer. I've been holding onto an ancient Epson photo printer (RX595) for almost 15 years, and invested in a CISS conversion kit with sublimation ink to finally put it to modern use. I'm interested in learning as much as I can about sublimation so I can get optimal results as someone with hobbyist equipment. I don't have a real heat press yet, so I'm mostly focusing on small textile projects (coozies, keychains, coasters) and drinkware with my small oven.

I'm having terrible color issues, which is the biggest reason I registered here. Hopefully the experts here will have some input on my woes. :)

Hi. Were you supplied with an ICC Profile from your ink supplier?

Three possible issues assuming that you have an ICC -
Firstly are you using the ICC profile correctly?
Secondly you need to be outputting your artwork to the printer as RGB not CMYK
Thirdly if you are using a Mac then the operating system automatically overrides any ICC profile when outputting to a printer which might or might not put printed colours off.
