I'm begging for help/advice/hints from you experts.
I have a tricky job needing to print a flat black background on an 8x10" flat glass substrate.

I've made the black a "rich black" in Photoshop for density... but I keep getting fading at the corners. I'm not wrapping the transfer paper around the glass but just laying the glass flat on the paper.
Dare I crank the pressure up on the heat press? Any ideas, hints or tips?

Make sure your papers are completely dry, and glass is preheated.

Glass products should be shatterproof (tempered glass) so can take good pressure.

It looks like moisture trying to escape. You can try using something like Chromaluxe Endura fabric which is primarily for Chromaluxe panels, but the fabric helps absorb the moisture rather than trapping it in like a silicone sheet or teflon pillow will do.

Also as Pisquee advised above, make sure your printed paper is dry, you can even put on the platen and hover the heat element over it for a few minutes to make sure its fully dry. Pre heating the glass and making sure its warm before pressing might also help.
