Has anyone used a microtec MAG-40 60x100cm heat press from Signzworld? Are they any good? We need a larger press but our access is too narrow for all the other large format presses I’ve looked into. It would mainly be used for fabrics.

we got an omega600 into our house through a standard door 75cm door frame , we just unwired and removed the platens to do so, and put it back together afterwards - the omega750 is similar size frame so that would also work same way - the problem part is the weight of around 200kg (though removing the platens lowers this) - but there are ways around narrow access, personally not a fan of stuff from signzworld especially if something goes wrong.

That’s really helpful, thanks! I actually have a omega750 in a storage unit that I was going to sell but if I can take it apart then that’s a game changer [emoji1]. Weight is another problem though, as you say.

think its only about 6 wires inside to undo - just take photos of it all as you do it, the platen is just the 6 big bolts on top that are spring loaded. The bottom bed comes off easily - then your literally just doing the C shaped part of the machine which will easily fit through most narrow spaces.
