Just thought i'd post this ...Yesterday i sent a huge box of glassware to ohio in the usa .. dhl piced it up at 5.35ish uk time ... i just had a call from ohio at 17.50 and the package has arrived in ohio ....

i am so gobsmacked as it stated 3 day delivery ...royal mail could never do that ... lol

You must've been lucky and they caught the plane on time

i sent a parcel via P4D which uses DHL on a 48hr service, as we needed it collected wednesday but not delivered until Friday to an event at Butlins - it was signed for at 5pm on the thursday - despite my customer not being there and all the notes on the package..... it turns out the DHL driver, reading the note put the box back ont he van AFTER he scanned it, so butlins were trying to find a parcel delivered by DHL that was not there, DHL have apologised, for the drivers mistake, but i left a message for them to thank the DHL driver for actually reading the note about NOT delivering it until friday
