hi, sorry for not explaining - I make coasters from polyester resin mixed with stone powder so they look like stone but are very strong, I was wondering if i could sub print onto them

Not sure how good the final print would be - I think it would depend on the purity of the polyester. Worth a try though and i'd be interested in the results.
Cheers John

What's the downside to an experiment? Only your cost of the coaster. So long as you cover the base of your heat press press with greaseproof paper and cover the top of the coaster as you press then if it all melts you don't make a mess.
