Does anyone know if / how we can use the olympic logo - or if we can use a version of it? I notice BMS have one of a t-shirt - see
http://www.printerowners.co.uk/sublimat ... shirts.htm.
Many thanks!

The simple answer is no.

Jenny is quite correct.
Useful links for you -

I would have thought that, after reading these pages, BMS is on a bit of dodgy ground using the logo that way. There's an example in the PDF that creates a much more obscure association between a product and the Olympic Games which is considered an infringement.

Thanks for the info! Perhaps a good way to try and get some 'olympic mention' (although not sure if worth it?) is to part-take in their banner scheme....

Quoted from their website - Our banner links should not therefore appear on the home page of a commercial organisation
That counts out any business so I cannot understand why they would want anybody to use their banner

I wouldnt even think of using the Olympic logo (or anything to do wi football tournaments) because they are ultra zealous in guarding their IP. I wouldnt even use it for free, or even think of associating anything I do with the Olumpics or Olympic themed.

I suppose thats what Im asking really....with it being so current....is it worth having on the site, perhaps might add a bit of credibility in some weird way...!
