Looking for a cheap'ish camera for the missus She just wants a small point and shoot camera, something quick and easy to use, nothing flash or overcomplicated....oh....and pink if possible!

Seen loads on the net for £50-£60 but wondered if anyone could recommend anything please?

We have a small Samsung at the moment and I'm far from impressed so won't be going that route.....Kodak.....Fuji....Sony...?

sony gives you lovely picture. Kodak is good as you can replace battery with standard 2xAA if run out of power on the trip. But will eat that batery very quick

What make you say that??? Did you poped in tou your local lidl for some deals? I saw them there

I got a free 8MP vivitar with my Brother printer. Picture quality was so bad that I gave up with it.

That said, my 5-year old niece really liked her birthday present this year!

A good place to browse this time of the year is the Argos Clearance on eBay : http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Argos-Outlet

It's the legitimate Argos outlet, so the seller's as good as Argos themselves. I bought a number of items from them last year (Bluetooth speakers, a watch, etc). You may find a quality camera for a decent price, rather than putting up with a sub-quality camera just because it's in-budget.

I've looked on the argos ebay outlet, there are some bargains but most of the goods are reconditioned - for the cost of a cheap camera these days i'd want brand new.
