Have a look at this site from the US. Due to released around spring next year. Watch the 3 videos and see what you think, not sublimation, no coatings or heat required.

Looks very impressive but isn't it a lot of messing around with the pre-spray....and after spray....and over spray! lol.

the first video shows a mistake. Why show it not working 100% to start with. The Other ones dont look exact enoguh to me. Too much risk of cock ups.

Lack of prices, and it's a bit odd the way they cut the video of the plate and hat printing so we can't quite see what's going on or how it works.
I'm also not entirely sure I'd want to be printing a hundred mugs with all that spraying, rolling, spraying going on.
Proprietary printer, proprietary paper, proprietary ink, and all the equipment - rollers, spray guns, vats, etc... This isn't going to be cheap. (I'm not sure if I'd want to be swapping one high-priced monopolistic supplier for another high-priced monopolistic supplier...)
Still, anything that allows us to print on uncoated items bodes well for the future. If this technology evolves and matures, and becomes affordable, it could be something to look at in 5+ years time.

Love the dipping! Is there not already another dipping process technology available?

Hello Jimbo,
We are also now a member here on this forum. I will hopefully be able to come online and explain more about our new process within the first few weeks of the New Year. Best wishes to everyone for the holidays, and have a healthy and prosperous New Year!!!
