currently i screenprint (cotton t shirts, bags etc) but i am now beginning to experiment with using transfer paper as it gives me more options for our products, and we now want to add a mug press to the mix.

my printer is an epson b1100 and so far i've just been using some basic dye based ink, with a view to using pigment inks to get better results when we go onto production.

1. if i put sublimation ink in the b1100 how suitable, if at all, is that ink for my t-shirt transfers?

2. for the mugs would i be better buying a cheaper a4 epson (s22 in all likelihood as we do not have funds for another b1100 at this time) and running that as a standalone printer.

3. can anyone with an s22 tell me if they produce a satisfactory print?

last week i had problems with both of my D88 and D78 printers spent three whole days trying to get a correct nozzle print.
Got fed up trying to resolve the blockages and went out and bought an S22 for £25.00 from Amazon and a set a refillables for £17.00 from Coralgraph and was up an running within an hour doing mugs and clocks, with very good results

Yeah, the s22 with refill carts is what I've recommended a few friends to get who are wanting to have a play without splashing out too much cash.
