What sort of life can be expected from the Ricoh GX7000? Just curious, really. I have 15,000 prints on mine, mostly just twin logos on mugs, I guess about 8% of A4.

Mine was 18 months old when it died.... It was a low use machine and ran great on Ricoh branded inks. First time we used sawgrass label inks within a month it was dead.... Standard power board failure from what we have seen on other forums.

No spare parts available, no support from Xpres, no help from sawgrass..... Expensive doorstop now.

I'd suggest you follow this up with Xpres as there is support available if you want to continue to use the A4 or A3 Ricoh platform. If out of warranty then you will get some financial assistance towards a new Ricoh printer and Subli-jetR inks.

Mine has died again today, the 2nd GX7000 :-(

First was replaced by BMS, and both with very low usage as I do embroidery most
of the time.

Is there still any assistance to help repair/replace it ?

Might be a good question to ask Sawgrass through Justin.
