Does anyone know how much heat resistant a heat pressed tile would be ??

if pressed at 200 degrees does that mean it would be heat resistant to 200 ?

or would i need to put a clear coat on to protect the image from a heat source ?

i have been asked to make some tea pot stands .

Is this a ceramic tile with the print on top, or a glass tile with the print on the base?
Either way, should be OK I think, as a teapot will be a max of 100°C, and to sublimate you need a higher temperate that that.
Putting a hot pan/pot on it from off the hon, or in the oven, may be an issue though if being used as a more generic bench saver and not just a tea pot stand.
