You could always make a very easy one by using a small table with a hinged piece of wood attached at the back where the screen clamps would fit. I would also use some fomica for the bed as this a lot better surface than wood & is easier to clean too. As for keeping the shirts straight & falt on the bed & not move about we used to use spray mount.

Looks good - Ian's on the same lines as me, I have a hand bench and 2 carousels but until recently I was using a hinged 3x2 on my workbench with clamps.

I had a pulley above the hand bench with vinyl washing line attached to the screen, going through the pulley and the other end was attached to a tin of ink.:biggrin: A simple but effective counter balance for your screen. The reason why I used this instead of my hand bench is because the hand bench excels with large screens but with smaller screens it struggles to get good registration.

Give it a go with the one in the video, looks quite easy to make.

One place I worked we had a similar system to lift the screen up but, used a 5 litre bottle which you could keep topping up till you just got the counter balance right. :biggrin:

Paul, just wished you lived near me because like John I could show you such an easier & cheaper way of making your own. I know that one in the video does look good but it is just a bit over engineered for me & would be better mainly in metal than wood. We once made our own vacum table to hold the material down building like a box & using just an old vacum cleaner for the suction. However it took bloody hours to drill all the small holes on the table top. Thing is it worked & cost a fraction of what one would have cost to buy. Good luck mate
