Can't find original post :-/ still trying to get colours right on my mugs they seem to be very pale I have used different temps and now I have used a different batch of mugs but the colours seem very pale they seem to be transferred as per printed of so is there anything that I can alter within the printer properties to make the transfers a little darker I am using my new Ricoh printer on xpres Subli paper just wondering if it need tweaking just. Thought x

Are you using the Powerdriver or have you installed a profile?

Hi me again i am using the power driver could it be anything to do with the program I'm using what program is recommended ??

If you're using the Powerdriver you can print from any program and end result should look the same. May be worth printing from something else just to double check this though.

Have you selected ceramic in the powerdriver properties?

Well I originally used Adobe and had the issues above I have since tried using Corel and the results seem to more satisfactory colours are much better not sure why that would be or if there is anything I can do to improve Adobe as I do like Adobe will have to see how it goes x

I don't use Powerdriver myself but I'm assuming all colour management should be switched off in software? Maybe this would explain the differences you're getting?

Try saving the image as a jpg and open in something like word. Does it print okay now? If so then the settings in Adobe are causing double colour correction issues.

Never could get a top quality result from the Powerdriver and Adobe together, just bin it and use a good icc, no worries about choosing the right settings as with the Powerdriver, just press button and print, as said before, make sure the right boxes are ticked in Adobe, otherwise you will never get the right results, i photographed my set up screens, for future reference, as i know how important the right settings are.
