This is my first day off in three weeks, I am exhausted. I had a lie in till 8.30 and clean the house top to bottom, washing ironing you name it I did it, why do they call it a day off. I would have be better of going to work. I do think that a day of for a women is harder than being a man. What do you think

its funny how a woman can load a dishwasher (and remember to turn it on) put washing in the machine (and put it on the right programme and turn it on) and clean the house, and get a meal ready, yet when you ask for one little job to be done, you get the "hang on i have been at work all day" look and you end up doing the little job yourself as well.

Jenny, you have to remember it really is called a 'day off work' not just a day off. As for the washing, ironing etc that just isn't only for women as some of us single men will be able to tell you. Sometimes I do give myself the odd afternoon off & go to the local park with a load of bread to feed all the ducks. That is very relaxing on a nice day just sat there with just the ducks letting the world just drift by.

For me a day of is harder than work, it just 8 and I'm think its time for bed, me you has no problem starting at 8and leaving the shop at 6, then going home and doing a few chores. I think when you stop it hits you like a brick. Today I hit a very big brick. Still glad for the vote. What more could I want.

All this time spent moaning on the computer, you could have scrubbed the front doorstep instead.

Jack.
