Hi everyone :-)

My husband and I have a sign business in Newark, we also do personalised goods such as T Shirts and sublimation products.

I have been looking for suppliers that will sell me the blank products cheap enough so I can compete in this current market, upto now I am struggling with making any profit at all.

I'm looking forward to learning and reading any new ideas from here!

Anyone got any assistance to help me print transfers onto fleeces without flattening the pile?????

Thanks for reading

Linda

Hi and welcome to the forum :) On fleeces have you tried using a small stiff brush to re-open the flatten pile after pressing (brush against the grain of the material to bring it back up again).

Welcome to the forum Linda.

Only managed to print flock lettering onto a fleece once, had to chop up another fleece and lay this on top to protect the pile, it's a blooming nuisance....but can be done! I would avoid like the plague and push hoodies/zip tops :-)

Hi

Yes Martin, tried the brush and also tried raising the printed area with a mousemat underneath, was better but still caught the bottom of the fleece

I tried with flock which was better but after washing it to see if that sorted the flat pile the flock turned pink (black fleece)!

I will definately trt with cutting another up and going down that route, but like you I'm trying to avoid them too!

Thank you for your advice

Linda
