I've had a paypal request from this company for a mug press handle costing £15, which I've not ordered. Has anyone here had any contact with this company as I can't find anything about them?

I've cancelled the request for payment so it will be interesting to see if they contact me again.

Thanks for this. I've just had a look and seen that the director of this company is also the director of the company that I bought my heat press from. [there's another thread about it being damaged].
Anyway, now it falls into place. He's refunded me £20, but under his other company, he's trying to get £15 from me for something I've not ordered, probably thinking I would just pay up without checking it out. His original offer of a refund was just £5.
Now I have to decide what to do about him as I'm not going to let this go.

I think this sounds like he is trying to take the p**s out of you and think you should get the press sent back get yourself refund and move on elsewhere and give this character a wide berth, Also let us know who your dealing with so we dont have the same issues.
Just my 2pence worth

Well, I am lucky enough to live only a couple of miles from this seller and have visited their premises on a few occasions. I do not think they have tried something devious, I think they have got clients crossed over. They seem to have no real idea of the order process and on a few occasions have made minor errors as one guy shows you the items, another gets you a price, a third discounts it, the first then tells the accounts team and then someone else produces the receipt. Too many cooks spoil the broth comes to mind when dealing with them.

Well I emailed them saying that I wasn't very happy about receiving a money request for something I didn't order, and got the reply I half expected. It was a mistake. It shouldn't have come to me, etc. I can't prove it was anything else so will have to leave it there.
Yes, viccar, you're right, it is signzworld. I'll give them their due, delivery was quick and they answered my emails quickly, but I now am a bit wary of them. Here's hoping I don't have any issues with the heat press in the future.
Thanks for all your help.

Well unless you buy from the well known suppliers you tend to find zero customer service the norm. Signzworld are no different than most of the 'chinese' machine importers - buy cheap, sell cheap and offer limited customer services.
When I bought my cutter I ended up having to skype with a man in china as he was the only person that knew how to install the item! I felt sorry for him as it was in the early hours of the morning for him and it turned out that even though the software listed my cutter driver it was not the one to install lol (why would anyone not try to install the driver with the cutter name?)
I use Signzworld now for supplies and being able to collect helps but I think if you buy a cheap 'eBay' press item or cutter then you need to be prepared for issues.
