The Magic touch have started selling a laser printer that allows sublimation printing to BLACK mugs (and other items). They need to be polymer based? so does anyone know where I can get BLACK sublimation mugs please?? (NOT the ones with the white patch around the centre).

:-)

Well I would be very, very, very surprised if any manufacturer made a black sublimatable mug as the market for such would be so small as to be non-existent.

have you asked TMT themselves about the mugs ? the printer is over 1K, so i would imagine to start with the market will be quite small for the products, they will probably have a delivery schedule

The process uses toner and their CPM paper to do mugs, it's not the same process as sublimation.

Well then it just requires black (non-sublimatable) mugs - should think they are readily available.

The new TMT system for mugs does not require a sublimation coating and you can use any mug that fits your press. However they are NOT dishwasher safe.

RAJA are your best bet for different coloured non sublimation mugs.
