just to add to my misery of the other post - back from docs as pain in my left arm is getting really sore. Going into left side of chest slightly. You think the worst. I thought my number was up the other night. Nausea, sweats, severe pain right down left arm, jeez this is it :frown:
doc says it def aint no heart attack, wrong place he said.

sent me for an x-ray today, and based on that, if there are no bones out of place ect, he wants to give me a cortisone injection in upper arm joint.
Now i heard about these things, and they are ment to be very, very painful. Is it true ?

docs says its maybe, just maybe because of me doing the heavy weights over the yrs,i might just have some wear n tear in the joint/s

old saying - never rains - yeh it does, always in my back yard

as per other post - off for another glass of wine

I can't get cortisone because of kidney problems but I've heard they're fantastic for a good couple of months relief from pain...I'll just have to suffer old age. My FIL gets it and it makes a big difference to him....worth a try even if it's just for one go!?! Hope it's just the wear & tear......getting old fair catches us 'young things' out doesn't it!?!?

Johnny, you have to think a bit of discomfort & pain for a few seconds is worth it mate. I had to have a cortisone injection in the palm of each hand a couple of years ago & there isn't much flesh there. Yes, it hurt when the needle went in but, was all done in a matter of seconds & still ok now.

I had to see my doctor the other day & he told me I should watch what I'm eating so, I've got a ticket for the Grand National.

thanks Ian - but i,m not sure if it is the shoulder - its seems to be my whole arm - wrist to elbow - to shoulder.
what i have noticed, i have been on the PC a hell of a lot over the last 3mths with one thing and another, and i,m wondering if that has something to do with it ? - the chair i sit on is rather large with large wooden arm rests. Wondering if its the constant leaning on the arm rests ????
x-ray result in a week - we'll see - still dont like the look of that dam thing ian - me and needles dont really get on -even going to get blood tests done i go pure pale in the face, as if the nurse is draining the blood direct from my face lol.
yes i used needles in the past for the gym ect, but different kinds and different places, and a hell of a lot smaller then those things - yikes !

I've had cortisone injections in my shoulder a few times, due to wear and tear through printing - works for a while, and I didn't think it was that painful, a lot less painful than the bloody shoulder
