Anyone else Snowed in yet?

Flakes currently falling (been snowing since about 11ish last night) around the size of a 2p piece.

We had about 6 inches of snow on monday tuesday night. Cleared the pavement out the front of my house so people could walk by ( its the law here and everybody does it) and brushed off the car and drove to work as normal. No problem.
Gotta laugh at the UK, 2inchs of snow and you´re paralized.

The rain is the problem here, it has already caused a house a collapse in an area that until this year wasn't thought to be a problem.

@Earl... yeah, my kids in Dortmund said its been really bad by them. And, they always leave it for the downstairs neighbour to clear....!

Wish it had only been 2". My car is slowly being buried, snow has reached beyond the centre decal on the wheels (18" wheels with lowish profile tyres). I'm sure it thinks its gone back home with this snow and strong winds blowing drifts. Will try and get a pic to put up.

We had 22 hours of the damn stuff here & I haven't seen it as bad as this for quite a few years now. The photo is just up the road from me.

No snow here up north a few flurries today but nothing settling, bright sunshine all day.

Justin, my car in the drive is just a large mound of snow now. :frown:

I opened the outside door this morning & a load of snow fell in to the house because, it was halfway up the door outside. I stepped outside & it nearly came upto my knees.

No snow here :biggrin:
