After looking around of the forum, there seems to be people stuck between A4 and A3, and 9 times out of 10 its the price for start ups.
I got recommended a brother J5910DW. So on a shopping trip i went and shown the mrs the printer in pc world. She just moaned its tooo big.
I tried to argue that its only tiny really and she was having none of it. So i had a backup plan.
Armed with 2 pieces of a4 paper i sent her into primark. First asking her to find a nice printed top she likes that would fit onto a a4. (Cause you might think a4 is a good size, untill you do this test.) She came back not so impressed i then sent her with the two pieces of a4 to make a a3 and asked her to come back within a couple of minutes that big expensive printer came so cute and adorable.
Now ok, you might just want a a4 to start but do what i done, take two sheets of a4 into clothing shop and see what would fit, you will be shocked how many you think would be a4 but are really a3.
To sum this up for you, The cheapest epson S22 on ebay is £69.99 with empty carts. The brother can be found close to £110, which can still print a4, and also has wifi, if you dont want to buy a supported printer it looks like this could be the way forward.
