For single colour designs (on a dark tshirt) is it best to use the cool peel mdp flex instead of their hot flex. I read somewhere that hot flex material has less opacity and is best used on light coloured garments.

I have used both for vinyl tshirts and not noticed much difference apart from on the white flex. Hot flex is much better quality than the mdp flex in terms of heat pressing it but the flex more or less seems to be block colours so not sure where opacity comes in. Try a small design on both tshirts it gives you a feel for heat/press times which mostly I think is gained from experience so lots of testing.
