hi guys im new to sublimation i have a ricoh A4 printer i loaded up the driver that came with the printer then loaded the icc profiles for photoshop elements 11 which is what i am using. getting some good results, trying to get to grips with photoshop when i print a box come up saying the image will bbe at 220dpi is this the best i can expect , thanks for any advise, andy

Never used elements personally, but 220dpi seems ok to me since subbing does have slight bleeding effect to it. - though that could just be my equipment! :s

All depends on the image you are using? If you have creating the image in Elements you can change the resolution. Go to Image>Resize>Image Size... and you can adjust the resolution.
When a customer gives me a jpeg image that is under 300dpi (usually 72dpi) and they want me to add text I always remember to upscale the image to 300dpi so that when I add the text it prints out very sharp and crisp. If you leave it at 72 the text can look blurred. Obviously the image will only be as good as the original but it's always worth changing to 300 when adding text or anything extra.

Which model Ricoh are you using? if it's a supported model you can use the Powerdriver and not individual profiles.
