I have been buying my magnets of ebay, normal I phone and they take my details and I pay by card over the phone, this time they changed the way things are done, I don't have a ebay account. I filled in the form for paying with my details and three times it said I did not do it right, it then said my card was rejected. I gave up and later received a email saying that I brought the magnets and would I pay through my ebay account, it was a automata email so I could not explain, if not could I send a check. I've no idea what to do, I can't pay no ebay account, I do not want to send a check. The next thing I did was to phone the bank to see why my card was rejected, they said no problem with the card, but that day 3 different times 1.00 was used on my card from ebay so that has made me nervous. is there a way for me to get into contact with this company so I can sort this out

Do they have a paypal account? You can pay via paypal without having a paypal account yourself!

click contact seller. on their site, it is possible their site has been hacked - it does happen, even if ebay says it does'nt.

I believe you can only use the paypal 'guest' funtion 3 times to pay, then you have to open a paypal account.

jennywren, just a thought, has your epiry date on card changed since you last used it.

Also why not set up an ebay account its quick and easy. and so is paypal

You can use Paypal as often as you like, and you do not have to have a paypal account.

To be honest I'm not a big fan of ebay and as a OAP I cannot grasp the bidding thing, they sent me a email saying I won a bid ( I really believed that I won a extra 500 magnets) till my husband explain about bidding, bidding to me implies that loads of people are bidding of the same thing, how can you bid if the price is fixed ) I like to phone up give my details over the phone buy the ebay buyer has no longer a telephone or email address, no my card had not expired, and why did they take 3.00 of me through my visa when they wouldn't take full payments so my card was alright, but I think he preferred pay pal, maybe to hide his takings. I haven't paid him yet as the shop was busy today and the phone never stopped. I think I'm going to wait and see what happens when I don't pay as I want my three pounds back. I will pay but unsure of how to go about things. I found it hard trying to find my way around his site
